🧾 Driver Reports

✅ Fixed EGR valve was blocking regeneration — cleaned both

DPF kept blocking every few months. Regen kept failing. Root cause was the EGR valve was so carbon-fouled it was reducing exhaust temperatures needed for regen. Cleaned both EGR and DPF at the same time. Been 8 months, no DPF issues since.

Parts replaced: EGR cleaner, DPF cleaning service

✅ Fixed Forced regen via VCDS — sorted in 45 minutes

DPF warning, auto regen wasn't completing. Took it to a specialist with VCDS who did a forced regeneration on the ramp. 45 minutes at elevated idle, DPF cleared completely. £60 for the session. Much cheaper than a new filter.
