The Footwell Module on E65/E66 controls interior lighting, indicator repeaters and other low-voltage functions. Water ingress from blocked sunroof drains or through the A-pillar seal corrodes the FRM connections and causes failure. Symptoms include non-working interior lights, indicator faults and random lighting behaviour. The module can sometimes be repaired but replacement requires coding.
