BMW 730d Rear Air Spring or Air Line Failure
Rear air springs and the air lines connecting them to the compressor are common failure points on E65/E66. The air lines run under the car and are susceptible to physical damage and corrosion. A leak causes the rear to sag progressively or overnight. The SLS compressor runs continuously to compensate before eventually overheating and burning out.
