🟡 Fiat Egea 1.3 Multijet oil pressure warning at idle

Oil pressure warning light illuminates when the engine is at idle, particularly when hot. The 1.3 Multijet diesel engine in the Egea is shared with many Fiat and GM products and has a known oil pressure sender sensitivity issue. Testing with a mechanical gauge confirms whether the actual pressure is low. If actual pressure is normal, replace the oil pressure sender. If actual pressure is low, check oil level, oil pump condition, and bearing clearances.
