🟢 Low Priority

The Toyota Corolla Hybrid fails to start with a red hybrid system warning. The 12V auxiliary battery drains when the vehicle is left unused for more than 2-3 weeks. The hybrid system does not top up the 12V battery the same way a conventional alternator does — it only charges the 12V battery while the hybrid system is active. Jump starting from another vehicle or using a battery charger restores normal operation. Avoid leaving the Corolla Hybrid unused for extended periods.
