Engine cutting out at speed or failing to start. Low fuel pressure warning. The high-pressure fuel pump on the Volvo 2.0T Drive-E (T5/T6) engine can fail without warning. The pump is driven off the camshaft and when it fails it can also damage the camshaft lobe. Volvo issued an extended warranty for some affected models. Always replace the camshaft and fuel pump together to avoid repeat failure.
