Chery Omoda 5 wireless charging pad not working
The Qi wireless charging pad in the centre console does not charge smartphones or charges intermittently. The issue affects devices with cases thicker than approximately 3mm as the pad does not have sufficient output power to charge through thick cases. Removing the phone case resolves the charging issue for most devices. The charging pad hardware itself is rarely faulty.
