Isuzu D-Max 1.9 DDi AdBlue NOx sensor fault
Engine management light and AdBlue warning on the Isuzu D-Max with the 1.9 DDi engine. The NOx sensor downstream of the SCR catalyst deteriorates with heat cycling, causing incorrect AdBlue dosing and triggering the warning. The sensor is expensive but replacement resolves the fault permanently. Ensure the AdBlue system has been purged after sensor replacement to remove any contaminated fluid in the lines. Use only ISO 22241 AdBlue.
