🔴 Fix Immediately

Coolant level dropping without visible external leaks. White smoke from the exhaust on start-up. The EGR cooler on the N47 engine cracks internally allowing coolant to enter the intake manifold and combustion chambers. If the coolant leak is severe, hydrolock and engine damage can occur. The EGR cooler and EGR valve should be replaced together. Fitting an uprated steel EGR cooler prevents recurrence.
