🟡 Toyota Hilux Mk8 2.8 GD6 injector return pipe leak

Diesel smell from the engine and reduced fuel economy on the Toyota Hilux Mk8 2.8 GD6 diesel. The injector return pipe O-rings harden and crack with heat cycling, allowing diesel to leak onto the engine. This is a fire risk. The O-ring kit is inexpensive and the repair takes 1 hour. Always replace all O-rings simultaneously. Toyota has extended the warranty on the injector return system for some production dates.
