BMW 320d 325d Diesel Injector Tick Normal vs Fault
Diesel injector ticking on BMW diesel engines is normal and should not be confused with valve train noise. The tick is loudest at idle and reduces at higher RPM. Genuine injector fault causes rough running on one cylinder and misfire codes. Injector replacement costs £200-400 each.
