Air conditioning stops cooling completely. The compressor clutch disengages and the system reverts to ambient temperature air. The compressor on 2020-2021 models has a known reliability issue with the electromagnetic clutch failing prematurely. Chery extended the warranty on the AC compressor for affected production dates. A replacement compressor with the updated clutch design is the correct repair.
